Watermain Break on James Street

The Public Works Department is making repairs to a water main break on James Street between Wood Street and Macaulay Street.   Work is commencing to repair the break immediately. It is anticipated that this work will be completed after 6:00 p.m. today.

In order to perform the work, James Street will be closed between Wood and Picton Streets.  The HSR will be re-routing buses around the work via Wood Street East, Hughson Street North and Picton Street East.  Water distribution to residents in this area will not be affected. 

Every effort will be made to complete the work in an expeditious manner and to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.  The Public Works Department thanks the community for their patience and cooperation.
