Wednesday wonderings
I just love reading to kids and so I did just that yesterday to a combined grade 3 class at St. Joe's school on Locke Street. There are a series of books written by Lauren Numeroff and so I chose her book called if you give a pig a party, which was great!!! It was V.I.P. reader day at the school and these kids were so attentive. Today I'm off to the Macassa Lodge to drop off k-Lite coffee mugs and coffee to Marlene Cool who runs the adult day program. Get on to our website at k-litefm.com if you'd like a little visit. Hey ladies and guys of course this coming Sunday morning at the bay Burlington mall, I'll be emceeing a gala that starts before the bay actually open at 9am and it runs till 11am. It's called a world for mom so lots of gift ideas for mom and you're shopping before everyone else is. Plus it only costs 10 dollars with 2 dollars going to the Canadian Women's foundation and the other 8 bucks will be honoured at the cosmetic, fragrance or jewellery counters. So it's a big win. I hope I see you there. Plus don't forget to drop Barry's Jeweller's on Saturday at 730 Upper James, big deals and more ideas for mom's day gift.
