Larry King has been resigned to host his CNN show until 2011.  Interesting though is the fact Larry hasn't been given the guarantee that throughout his contract he'll air during the 9-10PM hour. This leads some insiders to believe CNN may be laying the groundwork for Katie Couric to enter the network since her time at CBS evening news seems to be growing ever shorter. She's bored and the ratings are pretty lousy right now.

Prosecutors in Florida are looking to jam Wesley Snipes in jail to make an example of him for failing to file a tax return. He was acquitted of 8 felony and conspiracy counts but was found guilty of willful failure to file and so the feds would like to see him in jail for 3 years coupled with a 5 million dollar fine.  Let's see what the judge says about this one, after all he is famous.

Flamborough residents are livid after finding out they'll have to share the 4 million dollars in slot revenues from Flamborough downs, no longer keeping it to themselves. That means their taxes will go up more than 9 percent, double the increase of the rest of us in Hamilton. Some residents in Flamborough are considering a tax revolt. 

Star Jones and her banker husband are calling it quits after 3 years of marriage. Leading up to her wedding she constantly yakked about the ceremony and promoted her vendors which was one of the reasons she was let go from The View.  We'll see if the fanfare surrounding the split generates as much publicity as the original hitch.

If you see Miley Cyrus smiling a little more widely right now it may have something to do with the 7 figure book deal she's inked with Disney Book Group. The book will focus on her road to fame and her life growing up in Tennessee.  You'll get a glimpse of new photos, family stories and her inner circle.  Basically everything you ever wanted to know about Miley, but didn't know who to ask.

Anna Nicole Smith's mom Virgie Arthur is suing Howard K. Stern, TMZ.com and other media outlets for alleging she is the mother of her stepbrother's child. She claims a plot existed to destroy any of Howards adversaries and they've clashed before over Anna's remains and custody of daughter Danielynn.
