This won't do a lot for his popularity: Dr. Phil's staff have bailed out a teenager involved in the well publicized Florida beating of another teenage girl. In fact his show's producers aren't happy they helped Mercades Nicols get out of jail in exchange for participating in a show about the beating. They say their guidelines have been compromised and won't go ahead with the episode.
If you're a fan of the show Lost, an end of the season finale has been planned for later in May that will go 3 hours in length. The first hour will air 15th May and the final two hours on 29th May. Apparently the producers have a lot to reveal and think anything less than 3 hours would cheat the fans.
CTV's Corner Gas will wrap up production after it's upcoming 6th season. Brent Butt says it was his decision and a tough one to make however he says it's the right one. They want to go out on top and not outstay their welcome. I'm gonna miss them all, but especially Lacy.
Britney Spears is just not good behind the wheel, let's face it. She was on Los Angeles Freeway 101 in her Mercedes when she failed to notice the car in front of her had stopped completely and tried to stop too late and so banged into it. Nobody was hurt, fortunately. Oh well, no biggie, that's the way the Mercedes bends.
Heather Mills says she "just snapped" when she poured a jug of water over the head of Paul McCartney's lawyer. She was miffed the lawyer was arguing full details of the case should be disclosed including some details about daughter Beatrice. So, in her words, she "Cleansed and baptized her". So nice she didn't stoop to anything childish.
Kate Blanchett has given birth to her 3rd child. She had a boy, Ignatius Martin, 7.9 Lbs. in Sydney. She and her husband Andrew Upton have two other sons, Dashiell and Roman.....6 and 3.
JK Rowling is suing a man who plans to publish a Harry Potter encyclopedia and believes it does not violate her copyrights. The showdown in court with Steven Vander Ark is scheduled to last most of this week in New York. Good luck Steven, and by the way , you're toast.
Mac University and St Joes Healthcare has landed some talent that's out of this world. Canadian Astronaut Doctor Dave Williams will be a physician scientist conducting work out of a new operation yet to be revealed. On his missions he's spent more than 17 hours on spacewalks, so don't be surprised to see him out and about when he comes to Hamilton.
Speed limits in the north end of the city of Hamilton are going to be dropped. A consultant recommends Wellington North to the CN Rail Line over to the Harbour should be set at 30 kliks. Also in the report are bike lanes, traffic calming and management, street closures, extended curbs, chokers and more on-street parking.
