In response to the nationwide alarm over youth violence in our schools, the Student Safety, Security and Defence Community invites you to join the National School Defence & Security Conference & Exhibit on March 25-26, 2010, in Toronto..

 

This conference promises to offer a cutting edge, comprehensive approach to school safety and security with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

The conference will address topics of high concern as wide as ranging school violence - school shootings, bullying, dating violence, vandalism, gang activity, alcohol and drugs, bomb threats, child abuse, vandalism, school massacres, catastrophic events such as pandemic outbreaks, tornadoes, terrorist attacks, and technological intrusions.

This conference will surpass all expectations as the full spectrum of safety professionals including school nurses, school social workers, and school boards will gather along with the early childhood care providers, elementary, k-12 schools, high school and colleges & university administrators, professors, campus police chiefs, first responders, safety professionals, and community leaders, associations, academic institutions, EMS providers, and law enforcers who will showcase the country's state-wide initiatives and redefine the boundaries of school safety community.
