Commuter Challenge Week
Hamiltonians, give your car some time off this June! June 1st through 7th get out of your cars and into more sustainable forms of transportation to reduce traffic, smog and Greenhouse gas emissions and help our environment.
Commuter Challenge is a national program that encourages Canadians to walk, cycle, take transit, carpool or tele-work instead of driving alone to work, school or running errands. The Challenge supports communities as it encourages participants to leave their cars at home for their personal health, the health of their communities and the health of the environment. This is the 9th year that Hamilton will be participating.
