If you read my previous blog you already know I made a New Years Resolution this year. To be honest it's not creative, in fact it is the #1 resolution every year ... TO LOSE WEIGHT!
So the plan is to keep it simple and attainable. My goal as I'd rather call it, is to lose at least 5 lbs a month. I have to say with the holiday break I didn't get back to a regular routine until this Monday and already being Wednesday I have lost 5 lbs...totally holiday weight gain. Once things even out with my body, the goal is to lose 1 -2 lbs a week or again 5lbs a month.
I've been using an app called "My Fitness Pal" it's been very handy, you may want to download it to your smartphone...I believe it's a free app, bonus!
So a week and a half into the new year and I am officially down .... 5 lbs!! Oh yeah ahead of the game!! Love it! But if you watch Biggest Loser on tv then you know the start of your weigh loss journey is always the easiest!
For exercise I do crossfit at Stoney Creek Crossfit and love it ... hello lean muscle!! Strong is beautiful!! I also have been doing my own cardio days at home.
I am also tracking what I eat with the My Fitness Pal app and eating clean, staying away from the dirty "white foods" breads, pasta, rice, potatoes.
