Free movie under the stars!!!

Hopefully the showers hold off for us tonight so you can enjoy a free movie under the stars at Valley Park (Paramount and Mud).

102.9 K-Litefm is proud to sponsor free movies under the stars.  Bring your chairs, blankets, family and friends and get comfortable to watch GREASE on a giant inflatable screen!  The proceeds from the food and beverage will go to the Hamilton Specator Summer Camp Fund, a charity that sends local, disadvantaged children to summer camp.

Movie starts at dusk and could be cancelled due to weather conditions.

The Stanley Cup!!

Ok so since I wasn't able to cheer on the blue and white leafs during the playoffs I was more than happy to cheer for the red and white....wings...the Detroit Red Wings!!  Why you say???  Well I grew up in a small town north of us called Shelburne (Hwy 10 & 89) and went to school with NHL hockey player Aaron Downey.  If you're a fan of hockey than you already know Aaron won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings earlier this month and as you know all players get to take the Cup to their hometowns for 24 hours.  So yesterday was Aaron's day in Shelburne / Honeywo

My body is transforming...

since I've started the Lean and Fit program with John Savidis I can really notice a difference in my body.  For me it's not necessarily the weight loss that I'm excited about it's the TONING!!  I'm leaning up for the first time in my life.  You and I have done the free weights at the gym to but do you ever notice we drag our butts around at such a slow pace and the intensity just isn't there.  Well with the lean and fit program I am starting to do real push ups on my toes...I'm still a little weak in my upper arms but I'm getting there,
