General Rules

·You (and any other person aged 18 and older residing at the same address) may only win once every 30 days on one of our 3 Astral Media Radio Stations (102.9 K-Lite, FUNNY820 and Oldies 1150); winning on one station precludes you from winning on another for 30 days in any daily contest held on-air or on-line. Exempted are special limited time contesting where rules indicate otherwise.

· We are open Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

· Prizes for pick up must be claimed within 30 days of winning. If you cannot make it to the Radio Station in the 30 day time frame, please notify the receptionist and arrangements will be made to hold the prize for up to an additional 2 weeks. No prizes will be mailed.

· All prizewinners must show Photo ID listing the winner’s current address in order to pick up prizes. In the event no photo identification can be made available the winner must produce at least two pieces of government issued identification listing the winner’s current address in order to claim their prizes.

· All winners must pick up their prizing in person with valid ID. Prizes cannot be exchanged. Prizes are not for resale. Prizes are as awarded and are non-transferable. No one can win two of the same prize regardless of timing.

· Grand prize winners that enter a contest via qualifying or through ballot entry are chosen by random draw.

· If an event (concert, movie screening, show etc.) is cancelled, Astral Media is not responsible for substituting a prize, or refunding any costs incurred by prizewinner. No compensation will be offered and no tickets exchanged for events that are rescheduled.

· Winners will be required to sign a waiver agreeing to all rules and regulations related to their prize before accepting the prize.

· Astral Media reserves the right to reclaim/refuse a prize if all terms and conditions as written are not accepted.

· Astral Media reserves the right to terminate or withdraw a contest at any time, for any reason whatsoever and without prior notice.

· For all contests that involve entry through our website, we will only accept one entry per person unless otherwise stipulated in additional contest rules specific to a particular contest.

· Winners must be Ontario residents 18 years of age or older.

· Rules subject to change without notice and remaining binding.

Contest Rules

These contest rules and regulations are applicable to contests brought to you by Astral Radio (owners of Oldies 1150 CKOC, 102.9 K-LiteFM and FUNNY820 (820CHAM)) which are administered live on-air on its radio stations across Canada unless there are specific contest rules for a particular contest (the “Contest”). Please note that certain contests promoted on Astral Radio’s radio stations may be brought to you by Astral Radio in conjunction with another sponsor or by a sponsor other than Astral Radio.

1. CONTEST PERIOD: Astral Radio runs many live on-air Contests throughout the year on its radio stations across Canada. For these Contests, the Contest Period, duration and timing will be identified by the on-air host at the time of the Contest or via rules posted on-line or made available at the reception desk during regular business hours.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Unless otherwise specified, a contest is open to all legal residents of Ontario, who are at least 18 years of age as of the first day of the Contest Period unless otherwise noted by the on air host. Notwithstanding the above, the Contest is not open to individuals associated with the Contest, including the employees, agents or representatives of Astral Radio (including its respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising or promotional agencies) and suppliers providing prizes or other materials or services in connection with this Contest (collectively, the “Excluded Individuals”). This Contest is also not open to the immediate family members of the Excluded Individuals, and all other persons with whom the Excluded Individuals reside, and previous prize winners (including anyone from winner’s household) who have won a prize in the preceding thirty (30) day period prior to the commencement of another Contest on the same radio station.

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter for a chance to win a Contest, follow the instructions given by the on-air host to find out how to enter and win a prize while listening to one of Astral Radio’s radio stations. You will be required to call in to the Astral Radio station running that particular contest at the time and follow the instructions of the on-air host or a Astral Radio employee or representative that answers the phone. There are many types of Contests and ways to enter which include one of the following:

a) listening and identifying a song, sound, answering a trivia question or other type of contest where you must provide a correct answer;

b) calling a radio station to qualify for a grand prize, followed by a random draw to select a winner;

c) calling a radio station at the time specified by the on-air host or as the 9th caller or as specified by the on-air host to win a prize;

d) checking one of our radio station websites and entering a contest via email

e) entering via direct text message sent to the Astral Radio station direct SMS texting code

In order to be declared a winner by the Contest judges, a potential winner must: (i) be in compliance with these Contest rules; (ii) complete, sign and return a Astral Radio form declaration and release prepared by Astral Radio before being declared a winner and before a prize will be released; and (iii) correctly answer, without mechanical aid or assistance, a mathematical time-limited skill testing question set out in the Astral Radio form declaration and release. At the time of entering a contest a potential winner must reveal their true identity; any attempt to offer fraudulent misrepresentation of their name, identity or place of residence will immediately disqualify a person from winning regardless of the time the misrepresentation is discovered.

If a potential or declared winner is not in compliance with these Contest rules, the Contest judges reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and select an alternative winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of other eligible entries received for a particular Contest and any criteria mentioned by the on-air host or by a Astral Radio employee.

4. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: No purchase is required to enter an Astral Radio radio station Contest.

5. PRIZES: There are various prizes available to be won which will be identified by the on-air host at the time of the Contest. The prize may include one of the following: movie passes, CD’s, DVD’s, concert and event tickets, theme park passes (such as for Canada’s Wonderful, the CNE etc.), restaurant gift certificates, gift certificates for certain retail stores and gift baskets. Only one prize per household. The approximate retail value of a prize can vary and is available upon request at the time of the particular contest. If you are a declared winner, you must pick up your prize at the radio station that administered the Contest within thirty (30) days of being declared a winner unless otherwise instructed. Potential winners will be required to furnish proof of identification such as a driver’s license or social security numbers.

6. PUBLICITY: By entering a Contest, you consent to Astral Radio’s use of your name, city of residence, photograph, voice, statement and image for any publicity purposes.

7. THE DECISIONS OF THE CONTEST JUDGES ARE FINAL. In the event of a conflict between the rules and any instructions or interpretation of these rules given by a Astral Radio employee regarding a Contest, these rules shall prevail.

8. Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with these Contest rules, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of the Contest, is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Astral Radio reserves the right to seek damages and/or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law, which may include banning or disqualifying entrants from this and future Astral Radio Contests.

9. Astral Radio assumes no responsibility for: entries lost, stolen, late, delayed, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or for the failure, interruption or delay of any email or other communication to be received, for any reason; problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet or on phone lines; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers.”

10. Astral Radio reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to amend, cancel, close, suspend or reinstate a Contest at any time and for any reason whatsoever. Astral Radio reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or substitute any component of a prize for its cash value or a prize of approximately the same retail value. Prizes are non-transferable, must be accepted as awarded by Astral Radio and cannot be exchanged by a declared winner for cash or other substitutes.

11. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest rules, which are subject to change without notice to Contest entrants individually, and each entrant releases Astral Radio, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and advertising and promotional agencies, from any damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation in a Contest or the use of any prize.

12. The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest and these Contest rules shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario. Any dispute shall be adjudicated in the courts sitting in Toronto, Ontario.

13. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Contest rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.

14. Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Astral Radio for the purpose of administering a Contest. By entering the Contest, entrant consents to the manner of collection, use and disclose of personal information as set out in Astral Radio’s privacy policy which is available at www.astral.com.

Acceptance of Rules and Regulations

· By entering our contests, each entrant agrees to and is deemed to have accepted all terms, conditions, rules and regulations as written herein.

· All winners consent to the use of his/her name, city of residence, photograph, and audio recording for publicity purposes in all media by Astral Media, its partners, their agencies and affiliates.

· All winners must answer a skill-testing question and sign a receipt/release form for proof of pick up.

Contest Rules

The “SAY YES FORGET THE REST” contest (hereinafter: the “Contest”) is brought to you by Astral Media Radio G.P., (hereinafter: the “Contest Organizers”). The Contest runs in Ontario, beginning Thusday, May 23^rd, 2013 at 12:01 Eastern Time and ends Tuesday, August 6^th, 2013 at 7:15am Eastern Time (hereinafter: the “Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is open to all persons residing in Ontario who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the first day of the Contest Period. Notwithstanding the preceding, the Contest is not open to individuals associated with the Contest, including the employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Organizers, Heirllooms Bridal, Taylor-Made Memories, The Waterfront Banquet Centre, H Williams Jewellery, Coco Mazzi Salon, Hamilton Limousine, The Sounds DJ Service, Cake-Struck, Rev Ann Coburn Minister, (including their respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies), their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly linked to the holding of this Contest (the “Excluded Individuals”). This Contest is also not open to the immediate family members of the Excluded Individuals. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes: father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, legal or common-law spouse and individuals with whom such employees, agents and representatives reside.

HOW TO ENTER

3. No purchase necessary. To enter, you must comply with the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules, during the Contest Period. Go to www.1029klite.com (hereinafter: the “Website”). Complete the electronic registration entry form (hereinafter: the “Entry Form”) by filling out all mandatory fields, including: your last name, first name, age, complete address and postal code, phone number and area code, email address, correct answer to the mathematical skill-testing question appearing on the Entry Form. To enter the contest, write in 50 – 100 words only the details of how the wedding proposal was carried out and accepted. Follow the instructions to confirm your eligibility and confirm that you have read and agreed to comply with the Contest Rules. Then click on the icon to send your Entry Form no later than August 5^th, 2013 at 11:59pm ET. Upon receipt of a confirmation message, you will then automatically be entered in the Contest.

4. Entrants must comply with the following conditions, otherwise the Contest Organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries and/or disqualify the entrant from participating in the Contest:

4.1 There is a limit of one entry per person [AND/OR per residence] per dayduring the Contest Period];

4.2 There is a limit of one prize per household and per couple.

WINNER SELECTION

6. On August 7^th, 2013, in the offices of contest organizers, one random entry from all eligible entries submitted will be drawn. The name of the person who entered will be announced around 8:10am on the SUNNI & HAYES SHOW.

7. There is a limit of one prize per person AND/OR per household.

8. In addition, a contestant will not be eligible to win more than one prize during a period of sixty (60) days in any contest held on radio by ASTRAL RADIO HAMILTON and any contest held on the website of any ASTRAL RADIO HAMILTON station.

9. Any potential winner selected in this Contest who does not comply with this condition will automatically be disqualified and another draw will take place to designate a winner. An ID may be required when claiming the prize.

10. The odds of a participant’s entry being randomly selected depends upon the number of entries received in accordance with section 3 above.

HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE

11. In order to be declared a winner, each selected potential winner must be in compliance with these Contest Rules and in particular, the following:

11.1 The Contest Organizers must be able to reach the potential winner [by phone] within five (5) days of them winning the prize.

11.2 Answer correctly, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by phone by the Contest Organizers at a mutually convenient time OR have answered correctly the mathematical skill-testing question asked on the Entry Form OR answer correctly the mathematical skill-testing question asked on a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) sent by the Contest Organizers;

11.3 If required, sign a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) sent by the Contest Organizers and return it to them within fifteen 15) days of receipt.

12. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. In the event the potential or declared winner fails to comply with any one of the conditions set out above or any other conditions set out in these Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and if time allows, a new draw for the prize will be held in accordance with these Contest Rules, until an entrant is selected and declared a winner, without affecting the order in which other prizes are awarded.

13. Within five (5) days following receipt of his/her duly completed and signed Release Form the Contest Organizers will inform the GRAND PRIZE WINNER how to take possession of his/her prize. Winner must present themself at 883 Upper Wentworth Ave in HAMILTON with proper government issued identification with photograph. In the event the winner fails to collect his or her prize in accordance with the instructions set out in this paragraph, the winner will forfeit the right to collect the prize, and the Contest Organizers reserve the right to withdraw the prize entirely, with no further obligation to award such prize in any additional draws.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

14. Verification. Entry Forms are subject to verification by the Contest Organizers. Any Entry Form which is incomplete, incomprehensible, inaudible, illegible, fraudulent, mutilated, altered, contains false information or is not received within the Contest Period, or any Entry Form which does not contain the correct answer to the mathematical skill-testing question or otherwise does not confirm to these Contest Rules will automatically be rendered invalid and will not entitle such entrant to be eligible for a prize.

15. Disqualification. The Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or cancel one or more entries of any person participating in this Contest or trying to participate by means contrary to these Contest Rules or in a manner which is unfair to other entrants (e.g.: use of an Entry Form obtained from an unauthorized source, entries exceeding the limit allowed, computer hacking, etc.). Any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with these Contest Rules, deliberately damage any website or undermine the administration, security or legitimate operation of the Contest, is a violation of criminal and civil laws and the Contest Organizers reserve the right to seek damages and/or other relief from all persons responsible for such acts to the fullest extent permitted by law, which may include banning or disqualifying entrants from this and future contests. Such person may be referred to the appropriate judicial authorities.

16. Non compliance/eligibility. If a potential or declared winner is not in compliance with these Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and randomly select further entrants from the remaining eligible entries until a winner is finally declared. Any potential or declared winner who is not in compliance with these Contest Rules, must so inform the Contest Organizers immediately upon being contacted by the Contest Organizers.

17. Acceptance of prize. Prizes must be accepted as described in these Contest Rules and may not be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in full or in part for cash, subject to the section below.

18. Substitution of prize. In the event it is impossible, difficult and/or more costly for the Contest Organizers to award a prize (or part of a prize) as described in these Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of similar nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the value of the prize (or of the part of the prize) in cash.

19. Refusal of a prize. The refusal by a potential or declared winner to accept any prize awarded in accordance with the Contest Rules, releases and forever discharges the Contest Organizers and their agents of all obligations related to the prize, including delivery.

20. Liability limit – use of prize. Each entrant and any potential or declared winner releases the Contest Organizers, their subsidiaries, respective divisions, their parent corporations, their advertising and promotional agencies, their shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (hereinafter: the “Beneficiaries”) from any and all liability for any and all damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use of his/her prize. In order to be declared a winner and prior to obtaining his/her prize, any potential or declared winner agrees to sign a declaration to such effect in the Release Form

21. Warranty. Any person selected for a Grand prize acknowledges that the only warranty applicable to the prize is the standard manufacturer warranty.

22. Liability of prize supplier. Any person selected for a grand prize acknowledges that upon receipt of a letter confirming the prize, all services to be rendered in connection with their prize become the sole responsibility of the services supplier OR name the service supplier (e.g.: travel agency).]

23. Liability limit – running of the contest. The Beneficiaries are not liable for faulty computer components, software, or links; the loss or non-existence of communications capability; or faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions that make it difficult, or render a user unable, to enter the contest; problems with any website or website feature howsoever caused, the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone or network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; or the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers” The Beneficiaries are not liable for any harm contestants may suffer directly or indirectly as a result of downloading any Web page or software or transmitting any information related to entry in the Contest.] Further, the Beneficiaries assume no responsibility for entries lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected.

24. Web site access. The Beneficiaries do not guarantee access to or non-interruption of the Web site during the Contest Period or that it will be exempt from any errors.

25. Modification. The Contest Organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, in the case of the occurrence of an event, an error or any human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the running of the Contest as provided in these Contest Rules.

26. Early termination of the Contest. In the event that the computer system cannot record all the Contest entries during the Contest Period for whatever reason, or if participation in the Contest must be terminated in whole or in part before the closing date of the Contest as per the Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers will proceed with the draw among entry forms duly registered during the Contest Period or, as the case may be, up to the date of the event that lead to the termination of the Contest.

27. Limit of prizes. In no event shall the Beneficiaries be obligated to award more prizes than set out in these Contest Rules or to award prizes otherwise than in compliance with these Contest Rules.

28. Impossibility to act – labour dispute. The Beneficiaries shall not be responsible for any damages for a failure to operate the Contest in accordance with these Contest Rules in any case where their incapacity to act results from circumstances or a situation beyond their reasonable control or because of a strike, lock-out or any other labour dispute in their company or those of businesses which services are used for holding this Contest, war, riot, insurrection, earthquake, terrorism, civil commotion, fire, flood, accident, storm or any other act of nature.

29. Liability limit– participation. Any person who participates or tries to participate in this Contest releases the Beneficiaries from any and all liability for damages which he/she could suffer from participating or trying to participate in this Contest.

30. Authorization. By entering this Contest, each declared winner [or if a declared winner is a minor, the declared winner and his/her parent or legal guardian on his/her behalf] consents to the Contest Organizers, and their representatives to use, at their sole discretion and if required, their name, photograph, likeness, testimonial related to the prize, place of residence and/or voice without compensation whatsoever and that, without limit as for the period of use, in any media and on a worldwide scale, for publicity purposes or for any purpose that may be considered relevant. A declaration to such effect will be included in the Release Form.

31. List of winners. A list of winners will be available at the office of the Station Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

32. Property of entries. Entry Forms are the sole property of the Contest Organizers and at no time will be returned to entrants.

33. Communication with entrants. No communication (other than while registering) or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants in the context of this Contest with the exception of selected entrants or declared winner.

34. Personal information. Contestant personal information that is collected in this Contest will be used solely by the Contest Organizers, and their representatives for the administration of the Contest. There will be no communication of commercial or of any other nature, unrelated to this Contest sent to an entrant, unless such entrant gives specific authorization to the Contest Organizers for that specific purpose.

35. Decisions of the Contest Organizers. All decisions of the Contest Organizers or those of their representatives regarding this Contest are final and binding.

36. Identification of the contestant. For the purposes of these Contest Rules, the entrant is the person whose personal information is printed on the Entry Form [OR somewhere else such as on the request for a no purchase entry, as the case may be]. It is to this person [that the mathematical skill-testing question will be asked] and the prize awarded if selected and declared a winner.

37. Unenforceability. If a section of these Contest Rules is declared or ruled by a Court of Law as illegal, unenforceable or void, that section will be deemed void but all other sections not affected will be enforced as allowed by Law.

38. Jurisdiction. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

The “Abell Pest Control” contest (hereinafter: the “Contest”) is brought to you by Astral Media Radio G.P., (hereinafter: the “Contest Organizers”). The Contest runs in Ontario excluding Québec from April 25^th, at 12:01AM Eastern Time (ET) to July 21^st, 2013, at 11:59PM Eastern Time (ET) (hereinafter: the “Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is open to all persons residing in Ontario excluding Québec who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the first day of the Contest Period. Notwithstanding the preceding, the Contest is not open to individuals associated with the Contest, including the employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Organizers, (including their respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies), their advertising and promotional agencies, Abell Pest Control, The Pillar and Post, The Prince of Wales, Queen’s Landing, Millcroft Inn & Spa, Moffat Inn, suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly linked to the holding of this Contest (the “Excluded Individuals”). This Contest is also not open to the immediate family members of the Excluded Individuals. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes: father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, legal or common-law spouse and individuals with whom such employees, agents and representatives reside.

HOW TO ENTER

3. No purchase necessary. To enter, you must comply with the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules, during the Contest Period. Log into the 102.9 K-Lite website at www.1029klite.com/contests and become a K-Lite Insider. Look for the Abell Pest Control contest, and fill out the Abell Pest Control Survey.

4.1 There is a limit of one entry per person per month.

4.2 The use of only one email address per person is allowed, if a person has more than one.

WINNER SELECTION

8. On Wednesday July 24^th at 9:00AM (ET), in Hamilton ON, the Contest organizers will do a random draw of one entry held among all entries received in accordance with section 3, in order to award the prize.

10. The odds of a participant’s entry being randomly selected depend upon the number of entries received in accordance with section 3 above.

HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE

11. In order to be declared a winner, each selected potential winner must be in compliance with these Contest Rules and in particular, the following:

11.1 The Contest Organizers must be able to reach the potential winner [by phone] within fifteen (15) days of the date on which the potential winner’s entry was randomly selected;

11.3 Sign a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) provided by the Contest Organizers within thirty (30) days

GENERAL CONDITIONS

24. [Web site access. The Beneficiaries do not guarantee access to or non-interruption of the Web site during the Contest Period or that it will be exempt from any errors.]

30. Authorization. By entering this Contest, each declared winner [or if a declared winner is a minor, the declared winner and his/her parent or legal guardian on his/her behalf] consents to the Contest Organizers, [add the name of any contest partner if applicable] and their representatives to use, at their sole discretion and if required, their name, photograph, likeness, testimonial related to the prize, place of residence and/or voice without compensation whatsoever and that, without limit as for the period of use, in any media and on a worldwide scale, for publicity purposes or for any purpose that may be considered relevant. A declaration to such effect will be included in the Release Form.

32. [Property of entries. Entry Forms [and requests for no purchase entry] are the sole property of the Contest Organizers and at no time will be returned to entrants. ]

35. Decisions of the Contest Organizers. All decisions of the Contest Organizers or those of their representatives regarding this Contest are final and binding.

38. Jurisdiction. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
