The Matt Hayes/Sunni Genesco story began over 15 years ago. In fact, they're one of Hamilton's longest-running radio morning teams - ever!

For the last three years, the Sunni & Hayes show has been simultaneously broadcasting at 6:45am, 7:45am & 8:45am on 102.9 K-Lite and CH Morning Live, giving Hamilton audiences a chance to both see and hear this dynamic duo!

I have been having fun in morning radio in Hamilton for the past 21 years. Almost all of those years have been spent alongside CHCH weatherman Matt Hayes. I am definitely a morning person and I truly enjoy sharing my love of life, entertainment, sports and just about everything else with the Hamilton community every weekday morning from 5:30 til 9 am. I am a local supporter of a number of charities including the Good Shepherd, MS Society and Breast Cancer Foundation just to name a few. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out in Dundas where I live with my husband and trying to master the game of golf. When there's time I love to travel and exercise is a big part of my life.

I can’t believe it’s coming up on 20 years cohosting the morning show on K-lite with Sunni. Its been more than thirty years that I’ve been on the air as weatherman at CHCH. It really is true that time flies when your’re having fun. And I have to say after all these years it still is fun. We have a lot of laughs in the morning and do our best to brighten your day. People always go on about how busy my life must be but its not like work. I still have time to enjoy my passion for music reading biographies and spending quality time with my wife Patti and daughter Kyra. I also do my best to support many local charities throughout the year.

Tom has been part of the Sunni and Hayes morning show since 2007 and he is delighted to continue his role on that program as well as hosting his own show weekdays 9 till noon and Sundays from 6 till noon. Tom shares Matt Hayes love of Star Trek and Sci-Fi but not to the point of cosplay(yet) … and like Sunni, he enjoys finding a great deal, especially after borderline obsessive internet research prior to purchase from one of our local merchants. In addition to his duties at K-Lite, Tom has a second career as a professional voice actor.

When he's not in the studio, Tom absolutely loves spending time with his lovely wife Kelly and his amazing daughter Holly.

You know that 80's song by the Belle Stars, "IKO IKO" featured in Rain Man & Mission Impossible 2, well that's how you pronounce my name Aiko, not spelt the same but it sounds the same. Now, try not to sing that song for the rest of the day! HA!

I've been apart of the K-Lite family since 2002. Started on air weekends, then onto producing Hamilton's #1 morning show, the "Sunni and Hayes" morning show. From there KLite’s music director, promotions director and now best of all my job has me sitting behind the mic in the K-Lite Studio and I love love love it! Hope you can tune in weekday afternoons 3-7pm, it’s Aiko on your Drive home!

Do you believe in ghosts? If yes, any particular reason why? Yes. I’ve had many experiences as a kid living in an old house in a small town called Shelburne. Too many to list … and I LOVE the show Paranormal State.

If you were given one million dollars, what would you spend it on? Pay my BILLS, pay my BILLS!! (Sung in the tune of Destiny’s Child)

What make/model was your first car? 1978 Toyota Corolla, the engine caught on fire one night on the QEW

Do you have a celebrity crush? Can’t pick just one!

What has been your favorite, most memorable concert experience? Anyone who knows me would know. It’d have to be all 10 New Kids on the Block concerts!! I hope to see another 2 this summer ;)

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I’d probably say somewhere hot . But I’d go to live there and most likely just want to come home so I’m gonna say Canada. It’s the whole “the grass is greener on the other side” theory.

Name 3 items on your “bucket list”. Don’t have a list. But I can name 1 thing I NEED to do before I leave this earth and that is to visit Japan.

What 2 songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? Iko Iko Belle Stars … don’t have a second.

What is your favorite type of food? JUNK FOOD!

Do you have any pets? Yes, her name is Olivia Chow … she is a Chow Chow … and yes I do know that is the same name of NDP Olivia Chow … couldn’t pass up the name it just fit so perfectly.

What do you consider the best movie of all time? I’m not sure, couldn’t name one.

What story does your family always tell about you? How in school my report card used to always say “Aiko talks too much in class”

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A singer

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? Hmmm … I’m not sure …. For a laugh maybe revisit my childhood and watch myself break my Dad’s Blazer back window with a large nail and hammer. Would be funny to see my reaction.

What is one of your favorite quotes? To be honest I was about to find one online to answer this question …but truthfully I don’t have a favorite quote.

Niagara born and raised, I've been a radio-head since my teens.
I love the Niagara Region and all of Southern Ontario. It's the people, the natural beauty, the golf, the warm weather... did I mention the golf?
But the best part of my day is spent on the air with you.
When not sharing your day, I'm at home with my wife Laurie or texting our daughter Vivian (a recent McMaster grad), who's just starting her career.
I often tell her, "Viv, do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life."
I've been out of work for 30 years now...and loving it!

Ryan Seacrest

Born and raised in Atlanta, Seacrest has been the heart and soul of television and in radio for many years, beginning as the host of such kids shows as, "Gladiators 2000" (1994), Fox Family Channel's Wild Animal Games (1995) (TV), and "Click" (1997/II), which ultimately led him to his afternoon gig at Los Angeles's Radio Station, 98.7 FM, on which he hosts and produces the #1 daily afternoon talk show, "Ryan Seacrest for The Ride Home."

In the summer of 2002, he began to find fame as the host of "American Idol" (2002), a "Star Search" (1983) clone in which contestants try their best at auditioning a song before going on stage and to find out, who's really, the American Idol. He hosted the first two seasons of the show and after finishing the popular series, Ryan serves in the same capacity for "American Juniors" (2003). As in Idol, he will interact with the talent and judges, in order to keep track of viewers through the weekly show that will make it a successful hit.
