Tell us why your super Mom deserves a much needed break: "For most of my life my mom, Angela, has been a stay at home mom for myself (16) my younger brother (Drew, 8) and sister (Brenna, 13), while my Dad went to work. In the summer of 2008, my father passed away. Angela was now faced with coping with the loss of the love of her life, now had to raise three children on her own. After staying home for two years, Angela decided to go back to school. In September 2010 Angela started working towards her Bachelor of Education and Brock University. In June 2011, Angela received her B of Ed along with the Spirit of Brock Medal which recognises those with innovation, inspiration, courage, community involvement and leadership. I wish I could say that after her amazing year in school, my mom has gotten a job and can sit back and breathe. This isn’t the case. After applying my mom is still searching for a job, and I am able to see how it stresses her. I believe that my mom deserves to win this contest because it is everything that she deserves and that I cannot give her. She constantly works to make the lives of her children better, even if it takes its toll on her. I do not remember the last time I saw my mom with no worry on her face, or on her mind. And she more than anyone deserves to spend one day where she is the one who is looked after and allowed to do what she wants."
