Different Strokes is the first album to feature an appearance by Alison Krauss. Released on the very small independent record label Riddle Tunes when Krauss was only 14, the record is a collection fo bluegrass and traditional folk material performed by Alison, her brother Viktor, Bruce Weiss, and Jim Hoiles.
