Although only 47 at the time, this was (with the exception of two 1970 albums released on the Black & Blue label) trumpeter
Charlie Shavers' last official records as a leader. Backed by an unidentified rhythm section,
Shavers is in fine form on the ten songs but the extreme brevity of the LP (just 25 minutes of music!) makes it of lesser interest despite good versions of such tunes as "It Might As Well Be Spring," "Indiana" and "Lover."
