WHEN

TIME
11am - 3pm

The excitement is growing as many businesses, families and local organizations begin to register teams, build beds and issue ‘challenges’ to others to take part in some friendly competition. In its first two years, the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and Rotary Club of Burlington North have successfully completed two Amazing Bed Race events raising over $170,000 for our community. We are now planning for this year’s race which will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2012.

The purpose is simple: teams of five will participate in an exciting day of friendly competition while helping to support Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Rotary Club of Burlington North. The teams will raise funds, build or rent a bed, decorate it and race it until a winner is declared. Families, businesses, schools and community organizations will race their ‘beds’ on a 100 metre course through the downtown all for a great cause – supporting two important community charities.
