Visit beautiful Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park for Harbour Days, featuring the Bronte Harbour Invitational Sand Sculpture Exhibit.  Bring the whole family to see these spectacular works of art and watch as master sand sculptors participate to win the 2012 championship. 

Art in the Park
The event kicks off on Monday, August 6th at Art in the Park, hosted by the Oakville Art Society.  Come visit our “Harbour Days” booth to get all your event information and meet Karen Fralich, three-time world champion sand sculptor.

Corporate Challenge
Join us for our Corporate Challenge on Thursday, August 9 where your company can test out its sand sculpting skills and get the chance to work one-on-one with our sculpting professionals! Interested parties please email:  erin@infinity-pr.com.

Bronte Harbour Invitational Sand Sculpting Competition
Our master sand sculptors will commence their sculpting on Thursday August 9th at 1pm. Sculptors will continue to build until noon on Saturday August 11th. The exhibit will open on Saturday August 11th at noon, and stay open until Sunday August 19th.
*Admission into the exhibit is $2.00 and kids under 6 are free!
*Those interested in watching the sculptures come to life, may enter the park Friday August 10th. Interested parties will still be expected to pay the $2.00 admission fee.

People’s Choice Award
Come down and cast your own vote for the Sand Castle People’s Choice Award.  Voting will take place between Saturday August 11 - Sunday August 19, 2012.  May the best sculpture win!

Other Activities
There will be tons of other fun family activities going on throughout Harbour Days including:

• Vendor Village (August 11&12 and August 18&19 from 11:00am-8:00pm)
• Kids Zone featuring inflatables and other activities (August 11&12 and August 18&19)
• Kids Beach Day taking place on Saturday August 18th.  Bring your family for some fun in the sand with organized games, scavenger hunts and more! 
• Don’t forget to bring your yoga mats on Sunday August 19 for the Bio-K+ Yoga in the Park.

Directions
East:  Take QEW eastbound to Oakville.  Take Bronte Rd exit South all the way to Lakeshore Rd. W to Ontario Street.
West:  Take QEW westbound to Oakville.  Take Bronte Rd exit South all the way to Lakeshore Rd. W to Ontario Street.

Parking
Parking for this event is free.  There is local street parking on Bronte Rd, Marine Dr, and Jones St.  There are also local mall parking lots within walking distance (Bronte Village Mall and Centriller Mall).
