Learn about the night sky with the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers. Look through telescopes and see the moon, planets, stars and other celestial wonders like you never have before.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to ask questions about astronomy. You can bring your telescope and members will be happy to show you how to use it.

When:  July 28, 2012, 8-11 p.m.
Where:  T.B. McQuesten Park, 1199 Upper Wentworth Street, Hamilton.

Food bank supplies often run low in the summer and the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers would like to ensure that no one goes hungry.

If you would like to help, we will be collecting donations of non-perishable items for local food banks. So far we have collected 1,000 pounds of food thanks to everyone’s generosity.

For more information, please see the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers website at www.amateurastronomy.org or call (905) 627-4323.

Hamilton Amateur Astronomers is a non-profit club that promotes local astronomy.
