Rotary Club of Stoney Creek is one of the service organizations in Stoney Creek and theya re launching a new fundraiser/community event on Saturday, June 23rd from 9 – 1 called Impact Day Stoney Creek.

Impact Day Stoney Creek is a one day event focused on creating positive social and environmental change in our community. We are doing this by offering paper shredding for a low fee and free electronics recycling accompanied by a book and food drive.

All of the money raised from the paper shredding will be used to launch a new scholarship for each of the four Stoney Creek high schools for the student who best exemplifies “Service over Self”, being one of Rotary’s core principles. Book donations will be going to the Welcome Inn Community Centre and all food donations will be going to the Stoney Creek Community Food Bank.
