It was an absolutely gorgeous day on Saturday so my hubby and I decided it was time to check out  an oscar nominated movie so we went to Silver Linings Playbook with Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.  Both actors were superb in the movie but I thought Jenifer Lawrence was quite good in it as well.  The movie deals with the issue of mental illness in a slightly humourous way without offending anyone in any way.   We both came out of the movie not regretting spending the afternoon at the theatre.  We also knew Gangster Squad with Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling was playing there later that evening so we  stuck around to see it too.  Okay this movie is not oscar worthy but it was entertaining and Sean Penn was incredible in it as he is in every movie he does.
