Do you remember how miserable it was Saturday morning.  It had poured rained earlier in the morning and it was the 5th anniversary of the Bright/Walk /Run at Dundas Valley Conservation Area and I was emceeing the opening festivities.  I thought wow I hope people show up because this is such a huge event.   You know what ? They came, families, friends, kids all in support of breast cancer research at Juravinski Cancer Centre.  All money raised Saturday will stay in Hamilton.  I was so overwhelmed and moved by all the people who came in the rain to support either a  family member or good friend who is battling breast cancer.  Thank you Hamilton , the Bright walk/run raised close to 300,000 dollars thanks to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
