Can you believe that this Civic Long Weekend marks the last long weekend til Labour Day?   Wow I know we all keep saying this but summer is flying by.  There are friends I said I get together with and haven't had time to for some reason or another.   Why this happens I don't know.   I started out this season playing a ton of golf and that has slowed down a bit for me as well.  But you know as well as me that it's about making the time to do these things.  I finally on Sunday went out to a nursery and picked up some perennials for my rock garden (which is gigantic by the way) because I'd lost a few plants from the heat and finally spruced things up back there.  I had a to do list but it just got so long I decided to wing it which was silly.  Then I spent 4 days at the Canadian Open volunteering which was a blast and put other stuff on the back burner to do that and am I ever glad i did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
