A local hockey club needs our votes in the Kraft Hockey Goes On contest!

The Kraft Hockey Goes On contest is now on with 100 finalists across Canada competing to win $1 million for their hockey club. 

All finalists are people who volunteer their time for their hockey club so kids can have the best opportunities playing the sport they love but it’s all up to the public vote.  You can start voting online as of March 23 from 9am until midnight. 

A local hockey club needs our votes!!  Vote for Burlington’s John the "Manager Extraordinaire" of the Major Atom A Burlington Bulldogs.  John is said to be the heart and soul of the team! He is the epitome of a true sports fan. He lives, eats, and breathes Bulldogs!  People can't believe that John ever has time to do his day job, given that he seems to give every hour of his day to this team. They won the Alliance provincials last year and John surprised the boys by setting up an NHL style dressing room with their names posted over their hooks and motivational signage. He continuously goes beyond the call of duty and we appreciate the care and kindness he provides to our boys! John's heart barks for the Bulldogs!  JOHN NEEDS OUR VOTES!!!

The top 5 Grand Prize winning Nominees will be announced April 3rd. Each Grand Prize winning Nominee will win $100,000 for their selected Minor Hockey Association. A total of 20 Second Prize winning Nominees will also win $20,000 and of course the winner wins $1 million for their minor hockey club.

Voting takes place on Saturday March 23 so don't forget to VOTE FOR JOHN!!!  Click here to vote for John on March 23rd!

    Voting occurs Saturday March 23 9 am to 11:59 pm on Sunday March 24!

    We have two days this weekend for everyone to vote and win Minor Hockey some money!!!

    Here's hoping everyone goes online and votes as often as the ycan this weekend!!!!

    Make sure you vote as many times as possible. This money could go a long way in helping our Youth to excel in sports. John is a man who exemplifies sportsmanship and deserves all of our support. Even if you are not involved in sports, you can make a difference in your community by simply voting online (yes, as many times as you can). Let's all pull together and make this happen! Thank you K-Lite FM for your support, and thank you to everyone in the community that votes for John. A special thanks to John for his leadership and guidance of our youth!

    You're so welcome and congratulations to making it to the finals now we just need to get you to the finish line and win that $1 million for your hockey team!!

    So just to clarify everyone the voting takes place as of 9am Sat March 23rd and ends midnight Sunday March 24th!!

    Thanks so much for your support. TSN revealed the results last night and we were runners up and won $20,000 for Burlington Minor Hockey. Thanks again for your support!!!! Together the community and youth have won!!!!

    Hi John! Well if you couldn't be the winners at least you won something and $20,000 is a whole lot of something!! Congratulations to the Burlington minor hockey league and much success in the future!! Way to go everyone who voted, we made a difference by coming together!! I love that!!
